The webinar, “Between Identity & Expectations: Understanding the Adolescent Mind,” will explore the emotional world of adolescents, the expectations they navigate, and the ways in which parents can understand and support them with greater empathy and awareness.

Together, let us look beyond the surface, understand the adolescent mind, and nurture a more empathetic connection with our children.

 

SVIS learners explored this compelling question at “Junk in Orbit – The Growing Threat of Space Debris”, an interactive session at the American Center, New Delhi.

Through hands-on experiments and engaging discussions, they uncovered the hidden challenge orbiting above us - space debris and its implications for future missions and sustainable space exploration.

The session left them looking skyward with a new perspective: exploring space is exciting, but exploring it responsibly is essential.

 

As part of the ‘Poshan Mah Drive’ initiated by the DOE, our Foundational years’ teachers engaged children in various fun and learning activities that promote healthy eating habits. Preschool children created collages in the classrooms by pasting pictures that helped them differentiate between healthy and unhealthy foods. Pre-Primary teachers presented a Role Play to the little ones invoking immense learning among giggles & laughter. The Grade I students undertook worksheets that portrayed nutritional value of different food items, while Grade II kids participated enthusiastically in fireless cooking activity. The children’s meal menu was also thoughtfully designed as has been our regular practice, with nutritious options like millets, flax seeds and other healthy nutrients.

Nurturing healthy habits today for a healthier tomorrow!

 

And then, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived.

The stage came alive with three enchanting tales: “The Humble Worm,” “Animal Olympics” and “The Magical Earth.”

Through vibrant costumes, expressive performances and infectious enthusiasm, our young performers transported the audience into a world of wonder, laughter and imagination. Each story unfolded with its own special message, beautifully bringing alive the spirit of “Stories that Inspire.”

From the humble lessons of the tiniest creatures to the excitement of the animal world and the magic of our beautiful planet, every act reflected the creativity, confidence and boundless imagination of our little storytellers.

More than a cultural presentation, Tale-a-Palooza was a celebration of young voices, joyful expression and limitless creativity. A beautiful reminder that sometimes, the smallest storytellers can tell the biggest stories of all.
