Delhi Olympic Rope Skipping Championship 2023-24
SVIS takes immense pride in celebrating the exceptional achievement of Shrinkhla of VIII-E
who clinched the coveted Gold Medal at the Delhi Olympic Rope Skipping Championship 2023-24.
Shrinkhla captivated the audience with her power-packed rope skipping performance in the event that was held from 7-13 February 2024 at Talkatora Stadium.
Heartiest Congratulations to Shrinkhla, her parents and mentor Mr Devesh.

SVIS Champions Shine Bright at Delhi Olympic Kettlebell Championship 2023-24

SVIS students exhibited a remarkable display of strength and determination by securing 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal
in the recent Delhi Olympic Kettlebell Championship held from 7-13 February, 2024 at GBSSS No.1 Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi.

1st Bharat Open National Taekwondo Championship 2023

SVIS marks its presence with Second Position at Thyagraj Stadium in Premier League Primary Stars Championship by British Council

In continuation with the workshop of Premier League Primary Stars on May 1 and 2, 2023, 8 students from Grade V were selected for a tournament to be held on May 6, 2023 at Thyagraj Stadium, Delhi.
SVIS is one of the few schools who have partnered with the British Council and English Primary League for incorporating soccer in advancing the school curriculum.
SVIS budding footballers, both boys and girls participated in the tournament and secured the first match by winning it in a group of four teams. They were overall Second Position holders in the matches among 16 other private and government schools.
Our Football players were awarded with medals, trophies and certificates. Mentors Mr Vikram and Ms Aakanksha Mohla are being trained as Master Trainers since 2020.
Ms Aakanksha Mohla the German Teacher has proven her role as the Master Trainer a number of times. They earlier received training at Goa.
Both were awarded certificates by Primary League and British Council.
We wish our students great success ahead and hope they use the core values that they have learned throughout the two days workshop.

"Art is the imagination unleashed, and it is the fuel that ignites the sparks of creativity."
In January 2023, Subhag Foundation - a renowned NGO, organized an Inter-School Competition to stimulate the imaginative faculties of the students. The event aimed to revive their creativity with the theme of
painting revolving around futuristic travel in 2050 for the senior category, while for the junior category, it was about fighting pollution.
SVIS students showcased their artistic prowess with Geetika Mann from class VIII winning the Junior category and becoming the Subhagian artist of the year. Her presentation tackled the topic of "Combating Pollution" and portrayed two opposing views on either side of the page, depicting the pristine green environment on one side, and the polluted and ravaged side on the other.
Pihu Arora, a student of Class X, bagged the first prize in the senior category with her artwork on the topic of "My idea of travel in 2050." Her vision of futuristic travel was depicted through jetpacks, which she considered to be the most likely mode of transportation in the near future.
Overall, the competition was a resounding success, and the Subhag Foundation's effort to ignite creativity in young minds was well received.
