SVIS learners explored this compelling question at “Junk in Orbit – The Growing Threat of Space Debris”, an interactive session at the American Center, New Delhi.

Through hands-on experiments and engaging discussions, they uncovered the hidden challenge orbiting above us - space debris and its implications for future missions and sustainable space exploration.

The session left them looking skyward with a new perspective: exploring space is exciting, but exploring it responsibly is essential.

 

As part of the ‘Poshan Mah Drive’ initiated by the DOE, our Foundational years’ teachers engaged children in various fun and learning activities that promote healthy eating habits. Preschool children created collages in the classrooms by pasting pictures that helped them differentiate between healthy and unhealthy foods. Pre-Primary teachers presented a Role Play to the little ones invoking immense learning among giggles & laughter. The Grade I students undertook worksheets that portrayed nutritional value of different food items, while Grade II kids participated enthusiastically in fireless cooking activity. The children’s meal menu was also thoughtfully designed as has been our regular practice, with nutritious options like millets, flax seeds and other healthy nutrients.
