    Campaign to spread awareness about Vector-Borne Disease

    Inspired by the Delhi government’s ‘10 hafte 10 baje 10 minute’ campaign to spread awareness about vector-borne disease, Class-5 Blackberries themed their assembly on Prevention from Dengue and other diseases spread by mosquitoes. The assembly started with a small skit on ‘Dengue Prevention and Control’ followed by a song and dance presentation on the same.
    The assembly was further addressed by the school Head-Learner,Ms. Nita Arora, who enlightened the students and teachers about the preventive and control measures which can be taken to avoid vector- borne diseases.

    School doctor Dr. Manvinder Kaur also explained the causes, symptoms and preventive measures for malaria, dengue and chikengunya.

    The assembly ended with felicitation of winners of various inter-school events by the Head-learner.

      Class II- Class Assembly on Chandrayaan 2

      Inching towards the edge of discovery

      The exuberant students of Class 2 Mulberries conducted a Class assembly on 'Chandrayaan 2'. The young learners shared important facts about Chandrayaan 1, Chandrayaan 2 and the upcoming missions of ISRO.
      Chandrayaan 2 is a mission unlike any before!! The enthusiastic audience cheered the children who danced splendidly to the beats of Chak de India and Mission Mangal. They made the assembly very informative for all and it was winded up with a pledge ceremony by Principal ma'am.

                CBSE Capacity Building Workshop - Fashion Studies

                Fashion Studies is one of the new subjects being offered in Class 11 from this session. Yoga and Financial Management are among the others. Music Production has again been given permission by CBSE and some of our students have taken the offer, as per their aptitude and career aspiration.

                Ms Ushma Bathla Kapoor, TGT Fashion Studies was given the opportunity to attend a CBSE Capacity Building Workshop earlier and now she followed it up with a Training at ITM Institute of Design and Media, Mumbai.

                  The ebullient Grade II students showcased Global Folktales. It was a visual delight looking at the students using hand held eye catching props. Weave-A-Tale is an attempt to instill the art of narrating a story and revive the tradition of storytelling and listening.
                  The activity was conducted with a view to encourage students to use their linguistic skills, imagination and creativity to bring out the story-teller in them.

                        Storytelling Session by Ms nupur Aggarwal
                        Storytelling is the most fun-loving and effective way to inspire, motivate and teach. Driven by this belief, Ms. Nupur Aggarwal conducted a storytelling session for the students of class 2 and class 3 on September 13, 2019.
                        Ms. Nupur started the session with a captivating song on ‘Storywalla’ and the students joined her too. She narrated various stories in an interesting way that everyone was mesmerised. Students and teachers had great fun along with learning that stories nurture imagination and foster creativity.

                            'A salute to our Roots’

                            Grandparents are the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers and the keepers of tradition.
                            The students of class II Blueberries conducted the general assembly to honour the true pillars of strength in every family.
                            The grandchildren expressed their love for grandparents through their captivating thoughts, poems and dohas.The assembly concluded with the promise by their grandchildren to garner love and support for their grandparents forever and also thanked the Almighty for blessing them with these divine treasures in their lives.

                              Class IV- Blueberries - Special Assembly

                              Teacher is not only a mentor but also a guide, a philosopher and a friend too. To honour the effort of the teachers, our students of Class IV Blueberries presented an assembly on September 6, 2019. It started with invoking the blessings of God through the medium of Kathak dance. A skit on the teachings of Guru Arjan Das followed next. Group dance and group song on 'Guru Mahima' also mesmerized everyone.
