    “Give your words the power of twitter”

    In order to experience the power of twitter and to make a difference globally, a team of enthusiastic mentors from Sri VIS attended a Twitter India meet up programme at Heritage Xperiential Learning, Gurugram on February 29, 2020. The workshop emphasised on connecting the teaching community globally to make twitter a learning tool. Ms Sonal Goel, IAS, CEO GMCBL and Addl CEO GMDA, Haryana addressed the teachers with her inspirational speech on women empowerment and how these teachers play a lead role in moulding the young generation. In her speech, she conveyed a message to all the teacher fraternity to follow a simple motto of ‘Each for equality and equality everyday.’
    The resource persons Mr Francis Joseph and Mr Hussein told the teachers that twitter can be a great weapon in the arsenal of learning tools for all the students. They simply told the teachers to connect with each other on small lessons, activities so that the learning travels beyond the classrooms. The workshop concluded with a message that the need of the hour is to empower educators across the globe to use Twitter to drive change and make a positive difference.
    The teachers, Ms Deepali Pillewar, Ms Dimple Keswani, Ms Mamta Bharadwaj, Ms Richa Joshi, Ms Pavneet Mago and Ms Vineet Tomer HM Middle Wing undertook 'hands on' experience on twitter by creating their tweet accounts and connecting with many educational communities to give best to their learners.
