Visit to High Court & Parliament House

Schooling is often an important step in our lives but the 'real' education that makes us successful in our lives takes place outside the controlled environment.

Under the Legal Literacy Programme, the students of classes XI and XII (who have opted for legal studies and political science as their subject) visited the High Court, New Delhi on 28 December 2017. Students observed different court proceedings catering to both civil and criminal cases. They interacted with the lawyers and the judges and asked relevant questions.
On 27 December 2017, the students visited the Parliament of India and attended a session in the Lok Sabha. They observed the members of the house discuss about issues like population control in Delhi and demand of a High Court in Telangana. The students enjoyed a lot and found it to be a constructive experience for them.
