STEM Education at Sri VIS for promoting tech learning along with developing the spirit of responsibility and service to community

Yajur Mohan continues to go beyond the basics and establish national benchmark again.

This time at FTC or the First Tech Challenge

Yajur and his Team NeXT finished at First Runners Up at the Nationals of the First Tech Challenge or FTC held at Pune on Feb 24 and Feb 25. His team also won the Connect Award for Community Outreach and spreading awareness about robotics in the general community.

FTC is a tournament where teams are challenged to design, build, program and operate robots to compete in a head to head challenge in an alliance format.

The robots were not built using lego robotics but actual materials such as metal, polycarbonate sheets, chains, pulleys, etc and programmed through the use of Java Scripts.

We recognise and appreciate the role of parents and his mentors for giving him the impetus to go beyond.
